Head hunger Pre-op?

Today is day 4 of my Optifast liquid diet. I have one more work shift before surgery on Thursday morning.

I've done fairly well sticking to pre-op diet. Protein first and veggie, low carb. I gave up sodas 3 months ago. I also have done really well on the liquid diet, zero solids. I don't feel hungry. I do however want to eat. Not just eat....like throw down an entire medium pizza eat. Now, obviously that is not healthy. I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my journey. It's really a bizarre feeling. I know in my heart I'm doing the right thing. My head wants to binge. Does this go away post op after getting used to your sleeve?

I had the surgery done 4/7/26 and the last two days all I think about is food! Am I crazy? Does anyone else feel this way?
