Unless your depression was directly related to your obesity, your depression will not be magically gone! I have struggled with severe and chronic depression since I was 15 years old. I was of normal weight until I hit 50 so there was no correlation. Depression is a horrible, debilitating, crushing condition that few people fully understand unless they also deal with it. I watched my mother struggle and now my son which breaks my heart.
