April 28th Sleevers!

Woohoo!!!! I got a date today!!!! I'm so excited! I'm done with all my pre op stuff. One last appointment next Monday with my primary for the pre op clearance and it seams I'm good to go. At my appointment with the surgeon today we set me up with a date for surgery 4/28! I went right from that apt for bloodwork and the chest extra. Then Monday I'll do the ekg with my primary. I can't wait for this journey to begin!

I do not have a pre-op diet by the way. I just have to not eat after midnight the night before and no Advil etc starting now.

Everyone is different, asmalleme2016. At least you are going the right direction, and any weight loss is a good thing. One of the people in support group who was sleeved a couple months before me had lost WAY more than I had and way faster, and it was depressing. I just figure that if you are doing what you are supposed to do, it WILL come off. Just hang in there, keep drinking the fluids, eat lots of Protein and exercise. It'll happen!!

Thanks!! I lost 3lbs since I replied lol. I guess that's better than nothing. I have come to grips with me being a slower loser and that's ok, I'm getting healthier 1 lb @ a time.

Taramarie I see you have omnia from an old post. How was your approval?? What did you need for approval? My office told me I don't need a letter of recommendation just phy and nut and they will submit that I went to WW , did the gym etc.. How was your process and how's your weight loss going?? Thanks!
