Will I be ready for vacation?

Revision from band to sleeve on 4/15/16 and have a vacation to Florida scheduled for 6/17/16. Will I be ok for swimming and enjoying all that one does on a vacation at a beach resort?

@@pinklantern - I would say yes, unless you have something else going on.

I wasn't a revision, straight to sleeve, but other than staying hydrated here in Florida - I would think you would be fine 2months out.

If I remember correctly, I was allowed to bathe or swim at something like 14 days post-op. I don't think there should be any problem at 2 months unless you develop some sort of infection or something that would prevent your incisions from healing properly.

I went camping two and half weeks after my surgery and I was fine. Did have to push myself to drink my water and then some as it was July and hot!!!
