2nd fill and UGHHH!

I got banded in 2013. Had one fill 6 months in. 5cc's. It was fine for a while but now I've started to gain weight. Had another fill yesterday for the 1st time in 3 years and OMG I cant even keep Water down!! I will try to make an appt with my dr for tmrw but the appointments are always weeks away. Please advise. Is this normal?? Im so thirsty just want a glass of water but even sips are unconfortable UGGGH!!

No it's not. Did you consume only liquids or soupy foods the last 24 hours. Just wondering if you at anything solid that might have caused a stuck episode? You can cause some swelling with stuck episodes.

If you followed the rules then you should get back in asap so you don't get dehydrated. Good luck.

Hi I havent had anything but liquids since yesterday post fill. Nothing stays down. It comes back up. Havent eaten anything at all. Im going to suck on ice this evening then call the dr tmrw for unfill. This feels wrong.

I like the idea of using ice. Cold can reduce swelling. That's why we ice our sprained ankles and knees.

Sounds to me like the fill was significant (over 2 mls...?) and that could be too much for your lovely body to adjust to in one sitting. If you can't keep anything doesn't, even liquids, you need to have Fluid out, I think. Keep us posted - we are with you!
