Open VSG advise

New to the group and enjoy reading everyone's journeys. Surgery is Friday and getting a little nervous. Having open VSG and worried about the recovery phase. Anyone have this procedure and can share some thoughts?

    Sometimes doctors do the procedures they are most comfortable with based on the circumstances. I know all those procedures can be done laparoscopically, but maybe in your instance that is the best approach. Good luck.
