Myasthenia Gravis

I am planning surgery for May 2016, not definite date yet. I have several health issues to include myasthenia gravis and diabetes. Are there any other pre ops here that have Myasthenia Gravis?

    MEEE!! I have MG. My surgery is May 31st. Im on 60mg Pred which some docs have an issue with mine just said ill need to take something like prilosec with it. There are a few people in my FB support group who have had the sleeve and had their pred intake stoped or greatly reduced.

    Im also taking cellcept and mestinon and a ton more meds :P

    Awesome! That I even heard from anyone!! No suggestion from my surgeon to lower pred but stated the risks for healing may be delayed. Stated that the benefits outweighed the risks in my case. Currently on 40 mg of pred. Never been able to wean lower than 40.

    Hey sorry! I never got a notification you said anything! Id love to get below even 50! Im at 55 right now. Im going to look into rixtuan too though, I hear lots of us snow flakes have been getting into remission from it. Do you have facebook?
