Anyone has an abscess? Help

I have been in the hospital for the past week with an abscess inside my incision but they didn't want to drain it because its smaller... now after the daily antibiotics it shrunk. They said it could have came from a micro leak because there is no sight of a leak right now. And it closed itself or contained itself. So who had an abscess without a leak and did it leave without drainage? ?? Thank you
