Feeling sick

Hi everyone I was sleeved in December 2015 and am feeling sick with a cold. Are we able to take any kind of cold medication? Do we need to take smaller doses? Any advice

You can take anything per my WLC. You don't need a smaller dose. She even said I could take ibuprofen if I needed to, but I stuck with Tylenol based meds

Most bariatric Dr's say to avoid ant NSAIDS which would include ibuprofen (Advil / Motrin) and aspirin (also found in Alka Seltzer). Any cold meds without that should be OK including those with Tylenol.

Oh and depending on the type of surgery, you may need to avoid Extended Release meds
