Changing your mind with two weeks left.

My sleeve is scheduled for the 29th and am nervous and excited. But my family is starting to have me question myself, when I first told them I was doing this they seemed supportive. But now at the 11th hour they are all saying "oh are you sure you wanna do this?" "You should try something else?" "What if something goes wrong?".

And so on which as me sound guessing myself, I am already nervous n scared this is not what I need right now. I don't want to change my mind about this but they are really getting to me.

Have any of you had same thing happened to you and how did you deal with it?

I could really use some advice.

P.s. As anyone used waist trainers and had less stomach skin after the weight loss, anyone know if they work for that??

Thank you all in advance you all are so kind.

Well, no one can make you have the surgery, so you can still ditch it until the last day if it came down to it. The sooner you get his figured out the better though, and I think there might be some financial penalties if you *were* to dtich this at the last minute.

I have gone ahead and done it. It's not a small or easy thing though. However, if you have red flags of health problems looming in your future, then the risks of not having the sleeve gastrectomy can be greater than the risks of having it - that was my own personal conclusion for me.

Yeah I got scared to days before my surgery and I canceled worst decision of my life now I'm trying to get back into surgery I looked into many bad things and not the positive things but I had so much friends and family telling me just put the fork down and you'll be fine well if I could've put the fork down I wouldn't be in this position happy to say that I'm back on track and hopefully I'll get my surgery soon but I keep myself in the butt because of all would have been done with
