I used to do it all the time at first. Cooking dinner, mindlessly pop something into my mouth. Old habits are hard to break, but you'll get there.

I didn't take a bite of ANYTHING for a lot further out than 7 days. Your new stomach is healing right now......please be very careful. What type of things are you eating now?

Yes, I have had this to happen to me as well. I am 10 days post-op and while fixing my husband dinner I had a bite up to my mouth. Then it hit me. Aww man I had surgery and I can't eat this. Definitel

So is it normal to sometimes forget that you've been sleeved?
I keep forgetting. I go to take a bite of something then right as I pick it up I have to remind myself that my tiny tummy can't handle that right now. It's very frustrating. I'm 7 days out and the tenderness is gone unless something pushes directly onto the incision, I forget i I have them and that I've had the surgery..... is this normal?
