I had mine out years ago, before WLS, but the recovery is not bad at all. You'll do great.

Exact same thing happened to me. Had my first attack 8 months out. Incredibly painful....curled up on the bathroom floor, just trying to breath. Had 3 more attacks over the next 14 months. Each on

I am 8 months out from my sleeve surgery and have had two really bad gallbladder attacks (at least from what I've read they are textbook gall bladder attacks). I know this is common with large weight loss. I lost 80 pounds and made goal in January. The first one scared me but the second one was worse. Luckily by the time I realized that I needed to get to a hospital, the pain subsided. I did so well with my WLS, hardly had any pain at all, but I'm not looking forward to this. I am going to Doctor this week. Anyone else have to go through this? Is the surgery/healing process similar to the sleeve surgery?
