So I was waiting days and weeks for my insurance company to approve me, which now they didn't. I've been denied, so now I have to go through the ringer again. If I get denied the second time, I have to wait another 3 months to even get a date. I'm just so frustrated. Any help?

Wow that's not good at all, I'm so sorry to hear this. Ask for a hearing at your insurance company. That's what I would do. Good luck and keep in touch.

What reason did your insurance co give for the denial? Talk with your surgical team, in particular the person in charge of insurance and billing. Work with them on filing an appeal.

They didn't have a 6 month weight watch trail so I had to get the last year of my primary doctors notes from every appointment.

As in they had to track 6 mos of weight loss, or just seeing what weight you were at for BMI calculation?

Find out specifics then file an appeal from there. Many insurance companies have specific requirements before they will make an approval. Some require x number of mos of dieting, others an exercise routine, etc. Call your insurance company direct to find out exactly why, then find out what is required by them for approval.
