Protein drinks right after surgery.

So I am trying to get in my protein drinks in. I have some small Chinese tea cups that are 4oz and that is what I'm drinking out of. My question is how do you mix up your drinks? Do you mix them up in batches? How long do they last? Do you keep them in the fridge?

I didn't have to start protein the first 2 weeks. Especially not week 1. I would make the 8oz and split it for 2 servings. Keep the second in the fridge.

I mixed up a non bariatric serving and then drank from that. It was okay for a few hours. I never made more than I could drink in a day.

The morning after my sleeve surgery.....the nurses asked me to take in one ounce and hour and chart it. It took all day for me to drink an 11 oz bottle of Premier Protein.

I pretty much stuck with ready made Premier Protein for the first week.

I'd pour it into some Hard Rock cafe jigger glasses and leave the rest in the fridge. Only time in my life I can remember sipping from a jigger glass, too. :P

It took me a coupe days before I could get in 3 shakes per day.

Geez. I couldn't touch anything but clear liquids for two weeks. No protein shakes till week 3. I know right after surgery it was really tough getting in 30 oz of fluid of any kind. I can't imagine a shake.

I mixed them in a 24oz blender bottle, added ice and sipped on it at work all day. Then I'd make another one when I got home and sip on that all evening.
