you never said, how long you have been on the optifast. But just remember any loss, is still a loss. You are walking a lot, so maybe you are gaining some muscle so the weight loss is not showing up as much. Don't worry, if you are following your diet, all will be good. Good Luck on your surgery.

8 lbs. in one week? that is awesome !!!!! you should be patting yourself on your back. You are doing great !!!!!!!Keep up the good work.

There are many people who don't loose anything before surgery. Be proud of the 8 and if any more comes GREAT! Don't start penny pinching the pounds so early! Confidence!:)

Pleaseeeeeeeee dopn't get caught up in the "am i lsoing enough" trap. If you are doing what you know is right, and you are losing,,,give yourself credit!! Try not to worry about the rate at which you lose,,we are all different. I only had to do Atkins shakes for 2 meals a day prior to my surgery. You're doing much better than I could have done on all fliuids!!

Keep up the good work!!!
