Had my first fill today... three months to the day from my October surgery. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was really easy and uneventful. Phew, what a relief!
I was the first Lap Band "installation" my hospital had done in almost three years. I'm in one of the areas currently instituting a full-court press to talk folks out of banding and into other procedures. The consensus today was that I'm doing better with weight loss than most of their gastric sleeve patients. Yippee! So far, so good. Still 100% happy with my choice and so thankful the doctors agreed to trust in me that I had proper expectations and would follow the rules.
