Approved! Horizon BCBSNJ

The other day. Like Thursday my insurance coordinator submitted my info to horizon and I was approved today. So exciting! My preop class is on Wednesday. Anyone else getting their sleeve done this month?? My surgery is January 18.

    Congratulations!!! I was just approved too. Surgery date 1/11 in Brooklyn at New York Methodist hospital.

    I also have Horizon BCBSNJ, do you know if they took your initial weight in and Bmi? When I weighed in my BMI was at 40. But since then I've lost 12 pounds getting a little nervous they might not approve me. As I don't have any weight related issues other than being overweight
