5 days post op PAIN

The pain is crazy. The incisions areas all hurt.My insides hurts.I went to a supermarket in my neighborhood that is never crowded so that I could walk.BAD IDEA....in one of the aisles I was bent over in pain....thank goodness my father drove me to and from....I am no longer gonna try to be a super woman! I can't even wear a bra ...every incision hurts. My stomach is so puffy and sore and discolored.I am currently lounging in my adjustable temperpedic bed watching SVU reruns.I am in a lot of pain to say the least.

Look at my stomach!!!!!!! Revision surgery all in one is tougher than any other procedure.

Hang in there! The 5th day was my worst day. Try a heating pad and/or ice pack on your stomach. It helped me.

And don't be afraid to take your pain med! That's what it is for!

No go...just went to my first post op dr appt and he said no...not until next week.He gave me a note that says that I should have shorter workdays for another 2 weeks....otherwise coming along ok...

Sore but everyday gets better....the glue is starting to fall off incision areas...but I have scars....ugh

Try scar away! It's silicone sheets. I used them on half of my incisions as a test and even my doctor made a comment about how well they were healing up. The sites I used them on are almost not visible. Now to get rid of the other ones

What is your bruise from!? OUCH! I was bruised all over my arms, but only because they kept taking my blood and I was on blood thinners. This was the day after my surgery

I have no idea why I am so bruised up...All I know was that I had a complex surgery(revision).Lap band to bypass with hiatal hernia.
