Exercising

I was wondering if anyone of my fellow July Bandsters are planning to exercise as they lose weight?

and when are you going to start?

I just got banded 8 days ago. And i really want to start being active. I should probably start light, like walking.

I want to join a gym too. i'm not sure if it's okay with having just had surgery. anyone have any ideas?

I was banded on the 17th and just now feel I can go back on the treadmill - but at a slower pace than I did and gradually build back. I will continue weights and squats. I exercise to feel fit, to bend down easily, to squat easily, go up and down stairs without huffinf and puffing. So yes I will continue forever!

i WAS BANDED ON May 30, and I didnt start exercising until I was back at work, and I started with walking. I than got back on my bike, and bought a new one...and havent looked back since.

I set a goal for July for 100 miles and I am almost 40 miles over that goal.

Just make sure you are getting good nutrition and lots of Water...

I lost 13 lbs the 2 month, and am really feeling good.

Best of luck
