bloating?

Hi everyone,

I have noticed that I am feeling very bloated and sluggish the day after I eat refined carbs in a higher proportion to my meal. I did have this issue pre band and worked it with low carb dieting. Does anyone know if low carb is ok with a band? (Especially considering that all the stuff I am talking about gets stuck at some stage anyway...)

Cheers

Well, the general rule with the band is to eat your protien first, then veggies, and then carbs if you have any room left for them, so I would say that low carb would be the ticket. :)

THANKS. In Australia there isn;t so much of the eat your protein first stuff. (Well at least with my surgeon). All the info I get here ( from two unrelated sources) encourages balanced sensible eating. :Bunny

Bye for now

Jodie, you've lost 46 pounds! You must be doing something right! Great job!

Eating the proteins first, veg. second, then low carbs if room left will help you get the good foods you need and they will help you feel full longer.
