I need some advice.........

:help:After I eat a bite or two of well chewed, moist, solid food I get this feeling of this is just not gonna go down and I have to go and cough it up. I can eat soft foods fine and sometimes solids but most of the time not. I don't have any trouble with liquids. Having this problem is very frustrating. I get agrevated because I can't eat and end up eating something that is soft and high in sugar or calories instead of protein. I think this is why I haven't lost as much because I can't get in my protein, not to mention I am so tired all the time I don't want to exercise. I know this is not a restriction issue because the food is not getting down far enough and I is after only a couple of bites. Help! What can I do?

Have you had a fill or is your band empty? If you have a fill you should deffinitly call your Dr to see about getting some taken out.

I had that problem for 3 months but didn't go get a slight unfill because I thought I would loose more weight that way but be careful because I didn't loose a pound through all of that went and got a slight unfill of just .35 and lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. I would get a slight unfill it will make all of the difference in the world.

Good luck.

I actually had the same thing happen this weekend and had to get my band unfilled! They took out all the fluid because I was choking on the food and couldn't get anything down, it was making me gag and I had to cough it up. I feel so much better now, but a little frustrated that I lost all the fluid.
