December 8 Surgery Date

I am scheduled for surgery in one week but am feeling a bit overwhelmed. I had a lap band eight years ago that completely eroded, so I'm a little more fearful as a result of what I've already been through. Starting my pre op diet tomorrow and want to feel joyful instead of afraid!

Good luck! I had the lap band too and I love my sleeve so much better (plus I have been a lot more successful). Keep us updated.

Good luck. My husband just had the band to sleeve revision a little over a week ago. Know that we support you!!

Good luck!!

Thanks so much for your kind words. My experience with the lap band erosion was pretty traumatic (intensive care, transfusions, gastric bleed), that I think I've just got myself spooked. Looking forward and getting things organized--it seems to help to be in action.
