Do you have asthma or something? I didn't have to do the pulmonary testing. I have not been band but going through the processes.

Everything about the banding process and pre-op interest me. When do you think you'll be band?

I wish you much success and CONGRATULATIONS on your journey.

Hi I am to be banded on Sept 10 here in Waco, TX and no I don't have any lung problems never did have , maybe this is just something he does out of purcaution or something I was just wondering what the tet might be like. My DH has lung problems like copd and he had to breath real hard into a device that began with the letter S. Thanks fot getting abck with me.

I had to have a chest x-ray. They also hooked me up to a breathing machine and had me take a bunch of different deep or shallow breaths and it gave them a printout. Something about lung function.

The pain in the ass part was the sleep study - I ended up having sleep apnea and had to do the study 2x and just got a CPAP machine. (it took about 2 months)

Good luck
