Post op diet?

I recently had to get a little fluid removed from my band due to acid reflux... And now i can't quit eating!!! Have any of you ever resorted back to the post op diet? My friend told me that you can go back to the post op diet anytime in your lapband journey but I was just wondering if it works?

I had fluid removed due to swelling from being sick. I gained a lot back and my doctor put me in the pre-op diet for 3 weeks to jump start me. It helped a lot!

I go back to my doctor on the 28th so I am going to ask him a lot of questions this time and ask him the severity of my issue. I hope I don't have anything majorly wrong and that I can do that because surgery freaks me out.

I was worried mine slipped. So they did a scan and saw it was fine just tight. So they took out a full cc. That's when I became too loose and could eat bread again. I got in trouble. So recently I had fluid put back in, full cc, and again 0.125 cc. I'm good now. Good restriction but needed the pre-op diet to jump start my metabolism. Talk to your dr though. There's a fine grey line between red zone, green zone and yellow. My dr also said I shouldn't be eating bites bigger than my ring finger nail.
