I'm in Charlotte and just had mine done this past Thursday, the 19th. Dr. Heider in Mooresville did mine.

  • Yes, I've had my first appointment with Miles Surgical in Wilmington.

  • I am looking into having it done in Raleigh. I have BCBS of NC insurance. Next week I will be attending REX hospital's information seminar.

I'm in Winston Salem and I've just recently started my journey. I have my psych evaluation on this week and Nut visit in 2weeks. I was given a timeframe of late February or early March.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time.

Congratulations on starting your journey! I am nervous, and excited too:) Good luck, and please keep us updated.

Got my surgery date 1/11/16, next Monday. On Week 2 of Pre-op diet (all liquid). So excited and ready for it.

I had surgery 12/3 with Dr. Bruce at Wakemed. So far everything has went well. My only complaint is wait times in the office.

Born and raised there......stayed a couple decades.........just had a sleeve............does that count ?

Moving away from ENC was a bad decision.......but having the sleeve surgery was most WISE !!!!!!!

Zero regrets and looking forward to living with my new turbo sleeve. It's the best gift I've ever received outside of the birth of my son.

Powerful tool for recovering real living and thriving.

Zero regrets.

Oh yeah.....I couldn't appear in a proper NC thread and not give a shout out to my Pirates !!! Go Pirates !!!!!!!!
