Our psyche eval is in two parts. I had my first meeting with the psychologist yesterday. I completed some personality tests and we talked for 50 minutes. The second meeting will be at least two weeks later. After the second meeting, she will write her report. This is the last step before my file goes to the insurance phase. How do other programs do the psyche eval?

Mine didn't include personality or written tests of any kind. It was just a one on one conversation that lasted about 20 minutes. The topics discussed included: my knowledge of the surgical procedure, and my expectations following it, family life, support system, health and diet history, exercise, education, addictions (if any), work, and other related things.

It was very relaxed.

@ Mine was similar. @@citygirl1962 My appointment lasted maybe 30 minutes, which surprised me but I feel part of that was how prepared I was for the meeting, the surgery, my decision, the research I had done, the questions I needed answers to and my overall attitude towards the process.
