Boston, MA

Anyone out there have a planned surgery at MGH? I have scheduled RNY on November 30. I'm excited to have this done and to be healthier.

I'm 5'3 and my weight when I met the surgery two weeks ago was 249.

To be honest at first I was not thrilled. They have a fee that threw me off of everything. But the more research I did I found it is an amazing program. They offer classes that are mandatory and I believe is one of the reason they are so successful. Their program is listed as number 3 in the US.

Everyone is so super helpful in the office and everything seems to run very smoothly.

They are booked out so it might take some time to get in. But it is worth it.

How did your surgery go? How are you feeling? I have my first appointment on Wednesday. It took forever to get in after the orientation!
