Not really sure of the typical next steps? I called the surgeon office to give them tthe approval number and they advised they received the approval letter as well and they will call me in a week. Does that sound normal? What should I expect as next steps?

@@mstosh - with BCBS federal the next step was the pre-surgery appt and at that time a surgery date was scheduled!

I have BCBSNC and got an approval instantly and my surgeons office called me in 1 day and then i had to pay the remaining out of pocket which took me a week to do, once i did that they called the very next day and sheduled my surgery, liquid diet and pre op appt.
