Mexico - Dr. Ponce de Leon

So - just a random post. I was sleeved by Dr. Ponce 9/30/2015. I will be honest; I was very, very apprehensive about having surgery outside the US. I have to say - so far - it has been an amazing experience! The Bariatric Pal staff were very supportive and helpful. The nurses were excellent! (Loved Mari!) And last but not least, Dr. Ponce!!! What a wonderful physician. We had pre-surgery consultations. Spoke to me for 45 minutes on the phone. No sense of rush or impatience. Very knowledgeable. Once in Mexico, he came and saw me everyday. Sat down. Took his time. Answered all of my questions. Provided me with a video of my surgery and my leak test. And has consulted with me electronically since I got back. Very responsive. AWESOME DR.! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. <3
