Gas pains

Hi! I had surgery 3 weeks ago today. I feel ok but i have a few questions. Whenever i drink, i burp constantly!! Has anyone else experienced this?? Sometimes i feel like i have a ball of gas in my chest. I find it so hard to get all my fluids in. And just one other thing, certain things not only taste bad now, but things i loved smell horrible. Foes anyone know if this gets better! Thanks T :)

  • Thanks so much!

  • My doctor told me to drink 15 minutes after eating and vice versa. I sometimes forget and have extreme gas. That's the only time I have issues. I am 7 months out.
