Tomorrow will be 4 Months since surgery!

October 29th, 2014 I was 29 years old and the heaviest I'd ever been. I had 3 little boys at home who depend on me and had enough. That is where my journey began. On June 1st, 2015 I had gastric bypass surgery. As of September 26th, I've lost 100 lbs since my weigh-in on October 29th, 2014. I went from a size 22/24 & borderline 3XL to a size 16/18 & L (my jeans are always huge so I'm not exactly sure where I am). I get frustrated because I have lost a lot of weight and my jeans size doesn't feel like that's where it should be at but I'm happy with my progress for the most part.

I struggled alot post surgery. The most pain was from the gas that was put inside me & from the hernia that was fixed. I wasn't eating enough and became very constipated. I struggled for a good 8 weeks, until I went in for my 2 month check and the dietician told me to eat more Fiber and eat more in general. I drink Water only and am vigilant about my Vitamins. I haven't had any episodes since July!! I'm very thankful for that. In those 8 weeks, I carried around alot of doubt on whether it was right for me and today I'm very happy with my choices. I surpassed the most difficult stages and am kicking butt!!
