Were you actually told to fast? This sounds like a standard pre-op regimen...which means nourishment on a very limited calorie budget. I don't know how healthy it is to think of it as a fast...there is an inescapable psychological element to all of this and how you play it could determine your success. Just my two cents.

I have no problems with the diet - except weekends when I'm bored. STAY BUSY. And drink lots of Water. That'll keep you full
