Pre op binge

I was following my NUTs advice for 10'days but tonight I just could not handle the hunger pains and when I went to the kitchen for soup I ended up eating crackers and butter, a plum, and 2 pieces of white bread with mayo and cheese. UGH!

It really scares me because if I can't control my eating now, how will I do it long term?

I have 5 more days until surgery so I have to get back on track.

  • I felt the same way before surgery. Just make sure you don't do it again. I am 5 days post op and I'm not hungry at all. My husband got donuts for my kids this morning and I had no desire to eat them.

  • Well if you try that after surgery you're going to hurt like hell. You will be forced not to do it. Unless you like excruciating pain...I doubt you do. Just Get back on tract.

I do think there will be times that I struggle and want something that is not okay, but I also don't want to be over weight anymore. You can do this!
