Tiny tummy, the dictator

  • Popular Post

Does anyone ever imagine their tiny tummy as an evil dictator who is trying to take over your body? Maybe I'm the only one?!? Sometime I imagine trying to reason with him... Me:This red, ripe tomato is tasting so good, don't you agree tiny tummy? Evil tiny tummy: yes it is... Wait, I changed my mind. No it isn't, now let's see how fast you can run to the bathroom. Me: I don't get it, we've eaten tomatoes in things, why don't you like them by themselves? Evil tiny tummy: hahaha (evil laugh) because I decided we didn't today!

Me: tiny tummy, how come I can eat 5 ounces of Greek yogurt, 3 ounces of chicken, but only 1 tablespoon of tuna? Evil tiny tummy: because, I do what I want! Hahaha (more evil laugh).

Anyone else have funny tiny tummy struggles to share?

I think of mine as my bossy best friend. Her name is Stevie the Sleevie and she decides when enough is enough even if I want more. She refuses to like lunch meat. She sends it right back up my throat when I test her every three months. When I drink coffee she gets extremely vocal. Like Dory trying to speak whale. If I eat fibrous fruits or veggies she verbally groans and croaks at me.

That was hilarious. I actually have thought something very similar. I'm only 13 days out, but I'm pretty sure we've had this conversation. Me: protein shake, just like you have had every single day, so of course you will be fine with it today too. Evil Tiny Tummy: Surprise! Not easy anymore. I'm going to make you vomit. Wait. No I won't. Wait. Yes, I will. Wait, actually I won't. But NO MORE! Me: but our hair! Our gorgeous hair! Don't you want to me to still be cute? Evil Tiny Tummy: Truthfully, could care less.

Surgery for me is next Saturday so don't know about any of this YET but you sure gave me a good laugh! :)

I'll try to remember that when my tinny tummy will have it his way!

Tiny tummy: I told you not to eat the salad first. Me: I wanted the healthy greens. TT: Ha, ha, now you have no room for Protein. Now you will feel guilty about not getting your protein in. Colon: Hey, I need those greens!

Evil Tiny Tummy: Listen up! New rules! The shakes you have been drinking just fine? No longer allowed. Plain cool water, you already knew was a no, but now I'm adding ice water to that list. Me: Um, what if I add different Crystal light flavors to the water and the protein drinks, I've heard adding orange to the vanilla is good. Wouldn't you like an orange Julius? Evil Tiny Tummy: OK, for now. But don't get used to it! I can change the rules anytime! Hear me? Anytime!

this made me smile im no where near my surgery date still have 5 nutrition classes to go but i think thats how my body will be also because i can tolerate food one day and the next my body is like girl are you trying to poison us back up it goes

Mine is more like a traffic cop...we pulled this food over in a line of food all containing protein and decided to write this one a ticket

lmao! I'm 10 days post op.. fustrated as all hell with my evil tiny tummy and this made me crack up! exactly what I needed!
