Beginners question

I am very new to the process and just starting the appointment to get approved. My BMI is around 37. I have very high blood pressure. When I go to the nutritional classes is the goal to lose weight? I am concerned if I do my BMW will be below 35.

I believe it will depend upon your doctor. Some require losing prior to surgery, others do not. It also depends upon your insurance. I know this seems like a non-answer, but that really is how it works. Good luck!

My doctor submitted my beginning weight.
