Help after Surgery

I just got approved by insurance & get my surgery date on Tuesday. Yay! I live alone. I have a friend who is driving me to the hospital & home, then is staying over at my house the first night home. Besides that I have others to check on me. I will have purchased the liquids I need before I get the surgery. Is that enough help? I have a small dog- will I be able to take him out for short walks the first few days after surgery? Advise please...

Just be prepared to be tired. If someone offers to help - let them.

I think this will be enough. If you take any pain meds, I would shower when someone is there that first week. But otherwise, I think you have planned well.

You should be fine. I had no trouble taking care of three cats and a large dog completely on my own after surgery. I took my dog for four short walks every day and she was in heaven.
