I had a cup of dry corn flakes no milk or nothing and I was wondering if you think the doctor would not perform the surgery because I ate this yesterday and my surgery is Monday ?

  • I think the bigger question is, why did you eat something that you weren't supposed to before your surgery. But then again, you didn't ask that question.

well...I have no idea but Idk. I recall a story of a patient who fasted for 3 days then the day before surgery ate a meal and she had to start all over again. Maybe just a few cornflakes will pass qui

The only one who can answer that question is your surgeon. but I suggest that you do inform him/her that you consumed cornflakes and when. The incision will be his. Some go forward with the surgery

Who know why I ate . Why does anybody eat ? I know food is my addiction . That's why I had the surgery . I didn't control my food portions . .It was a matter of either live or die and I chose to live by having the surgery . Anyway things are getting better with time .

It's a self sabotage move. We've all done it. On day two of my liquid diet I was CRAVING real Protein. I ended up eating a can of tuna with dijon mustard. At least it was healthy. After that, I have been strict to the plan.

Proud of you and wishing you best of luck.
