I was really bloated too. In fact, 5 days after surgery, I tried to put on the pants I wore to the hospital for the surgery. I couldnt even button and zip them. It is normal, and it does resolve day by day. The key is to move around as much as possible. I was banded the 25th, and now those same pants are loose on me! Good luck...

I was also really bloated and stayed that way for nearly a month. It is normal. Everyone is different on the amount of time it takes for their swelling to go down. I know it is frustrating, but just know it does get better.

Very normal. I had the same issue. It's typical of abdominal surgery. When I had my hysterectomy the people boards for that called it "swelly belly". It goes away, it's just the gas and fluid retention. Be patient, it will get better I promise!
