did you ask what is covered with your plan regarding Bariatric Surgery? If so and the person you spoke with didn't know I would ask to speak to someone that might know.

How was the process of approval from magna care local 825 . Just submitted and afraid they won’t approve BMI of 39

I just finished my required criteria and had my 2nd appt.w the surgeon on 2/15 My tentative surgery date is 3/28.

Information has been send to magnacare for approval. From what i was told, Local 3 has no problems w approvals. I will keep you posted

That’s great to hear ! I got approval today from my local 825 but i also have Blue Cross Blue Shield Union also for hospital coverage . Waiting on that approval . I hope it goes as smoothly at magna care . I don’t see why it wouldn’t !
