August 18 - here I come!

I'm getting a Sleeve on August 18! My husband and I went to the pre-op day on Thursday and everything went really well. I'm pretty excited and feeling confident. :)

I have to be there a day early to have an IVC filter put in to catch potential blood clots. I have a genetic blood clotting disorder and have experienced multiple DVTs and gone through pulmonary emboli twice. I think this is the only thing I have any anxiety about and not really that much. I've learned how to control the blood clotting and have good tools and support for keeping everything under control.

I'm looking forward to blowing past that "average 60%" weight loss statistic! :D
