I received a call from my surgeons offices yesterday, and I had to reschedule my first appointment for the third time. I understand things come up but it just seems like I'm not suppose to meet with the surgeon. Also, my insurance will be changing either at the end of the year or early next year and I'm afraid I will have to restart the process with a new instance. I'm getting very anxious with the thought that this isn't meant to happen. Has anyone else had similar issues? I feel this process is already long, and these set back just continue adding time. Am I being petty or overthinking?

I think your feelings are normal. I know I would feel similar. Some of us wait a long time to do this. Some of us have so many hoops to jump thru. Some of us read into things like this and view them as a sign that we should question the whole thing. Try to take some deep breaths and hang in there. Things do happen for a reason. ♡

I know the last thing you want to hear is be patient, things happen for a reason. But I promise you ITS TRUE! I waited for over 6 years for my surgery...I had to watch my sister and 3 cousins and 1 co-worker have their surgeries while I cried and suffered. But, when my time FINALLY came it was bing, bang, boom! And here I am starting my 5th week post-op! All the suffering and waiting and crying OVER! And so worth the wait! You will get there when you're meant to I promise!
