Getting Unstuck

Well, I had terrible heartburn in the middle of the night and without thinking, I got up and took a tums. I don't think I chewed it up well enough and now feel like something is stuck in my throat. I can get water down but it's uncomfortable. I'm 11 days post-op. Any suggestions????

When I have this feeling (and I am 4 months and I still get the feeling. I find walking around helps me. And nice slow deep breaths. I question whether this is something there or if it's just a feeling - but walking around helps.

This happens to me too. I mimic swallowing, without water, and this tends to help within a few minutes.
