  • When I was early out I drank (still do) the premier protein drinks they sell at most Walmart's and SAMS. They are ready made with 30 grams of protein per shake 11oz I think. I love the taste of them!

prbaby28, As was suggested, check the different brands of coconut Water to find one with way less sugar. 28 grams of carbs is way too much! Some brands have less than 1 gram of sugar and 5 calories

@@Elode that's awesome

I only get to tell animals what to do....I'm a vet tech. But they listen better than people ;)

Have you tried Fair Life Milk? It is filtered so it's nonfat, lactose free and has much higher protein per serving. I'm not much of a milk drinker but this nonfat milk is pretty creamy and tasty. Good way to boost protein!

prbaby28,

As was suggested, check the different brands of coconut Water to find one with way less sugar. 28 grams of carbs is way too much! Some brands have less than 1 gram of sugar and 5 calories per cup, so you can use them for your Protein shakes to make them taste better (and to avoid problems that may come when you drink milk!), and for staying hydrated.

You didn’t say in your initial post exactly WHY you’re having trouble hitting your Fluid and protein goals. I am guessing for protein, it is because you cannot stand the taste. But what about fluid? If you’re not tolerating water well, maybe coconut waters and other DIET flavored waters can help. If it’s because you’re not remembering to drink enough or the day seems to pass without finding time to get in your fluids, it may help to write down a schedule. Once you get into the habit, you’ll be able to get in enough liquids more easily.

Good luck!
