Outpatient sleevers?

Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys had outpatient surgery for your sleeves? I'm worried about the pain after surgery, but I really don't have an extra five grand to stay overnight lol. Was outpatient completely terrible, or bearable?

Thanks!

I was sleeved as an outpatient on 5-15-15. I did great! Surgery at 7:30am and home by 1:30pm. I took my pain meds on schedule and was off them by day 3...I was driving myself on day 5. I didn't have any issues with gas or nausea and did really great. I kept having to remind myself I had just had major surgery.

Everyone's experience is different but I am not one to lie around and dwell, I got up and got moving.

Good luck and wishing you a smooth surgery!!
