One week out from surgery...

And I'm down 8 lbs!!! That's not including the 5+ I gained from the IV fluids! Still on full liquids until purée starts Thursday. I'm still pretty tired. Don't think I've been awake for more than 8 hours at a time. Hopefully my stamina will improve this week! Doc wants to send me back to 12 hour NOC shifts next week. I highly doubt that!!!

Congrats on the weight lost so far! You will do amazing if you stick to the plan. Protein first of course and get all your fluids in. Beware the 3 week stall, it always happens but inches still come off. If you haven't already do your measurements so you can see it happening when the scale doesn't move.

Good luck!

I had to take lots of naps in those early days. Just make sure you are getting up for short walks every once in a while too and staying awake long enough to get some fluids in.
