Pre op testing

Day 9 pre op diet. 1 week from surgery! Went in today for my hospital pre op testing: ultrasound of neck and leg arteries, EKG, and bloodwork. On way now to my pre op seminar at my surgeon office to see how to take care of myself after surgery. The hospital mentioned about a liver biopsy during surgery, this hasn't been mention throughout process. Anyone know why this is needed?

    i didnt have to have any of that with the exception of the bloodwork

    ask your Surgeon or the PA why its needed? they can let you know im sure :)
