I was scheduled to get banded tomorrow 6/25 and was really ready when I got a call that something was wrong with my chest xray, after we cleared that up my primary Dr. wanted to do one last check of my oxygen level- that's where we hit the snag, as soon as I exert any exercise it drops 15 pts and he said they can't operate. I feel the best I have in a while, I am down 20lbs and walking more than ever. Now I have to take more tests and I am so scared that I won't be able to get the surgery. I am really bummed out!

Sorry you are having this delay but really it is better safe than sorry.

Try not to get too frustrated, it really is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to anesthesia. Just give it a few days, it might not be a huge delay. What is your doc saying?
