Why is my hernia hurting like this?

I am due to have my repair and sleeve done on July 10th... My hernia never really cause discomfort until a few weeks ago. I am now noticing that when I eat or drink even water I have discomfort and burning sensation. Have anyone else experienced anything like this or similar? I'm due to go meet with the surgeon on the 25th of June. I will be definitely mentioning this issue I'm having. I will also like to know your input out of curiosity.

I wasn't even aware I had a hernia until after surgery when I was told he fixed it. The hernia is pretty common I am told in all of us who are overweight. Definitely mention it and your surgeon will tell you if he wants you to do anything prior to surgery. Good luck!!

BTW I am in Georgia also...
