time off work??

i am just starting all this, calling ins.tomorrow, 3 dr.s have suggested the lapband,hopefully ins.will see it the dr.s way??

my ? is normally(right!) how much time are you off work? i have a desk job, but high strees, lots of responsibilty. so what do ya think? thanks, nancyem

Hello -

I initially was going to take 1 week but found I needed more time - I had surg on a Wed and didn't return to work 1 1/2 weeks basically. Everyone heals at their own pace - some much quicker than others - so it is hard to really say. Maybe prepare your boss for the worst case scenario and then if you feel better soomer, go back. I was low on energy the first week.
