Just curious if anyone from long island on here...just for support or any support groups that you may go to.... and Where or which doctor did the surgery??

Hi I am on Long Island in Nassau Cty I am using Dr Vohra in Hewlett

I go to the meetings at south nassau hospital in oceanside the next meeting is 7/11 at 7pm

I will be banded on 7/17/07

I am in Long Island as well. My Doctor was in Riverhead.

I live on the Island. Dr. Ren from NYU did my surgery Aug 27. I have been attending a support group here for the past 3 months. Very informative, with some very nice people. Check out the Local Support Group thread and go to N.Y.

I'm going to my first support group meeting at my doctor's office next week.

I'm a little nervous ...

Do you guys really feel you get a lot out of it?
